Thelilacbox Men's Review 2013

So I've decided to get a men's box for my friend & I hope he loves the products provided & will use it. Since this is the first ever men's box by the lilac box, I've decided to give a try (:

The packaging 

( I thought there will be a different design for the box since this the first men's box hmm..)

The theme colour for this box is blackish & grey.

The contents!

When I saw the brands of the products that I've received, I was shocked!

I really like the idea of the survival notes (step-by-step guide) as all the steps & ways to use is clearly stated.

They even stated 'HOW' & 'WHEN' to use for every single products!

I find it very helpful as before that I was concerned about whether my friend is able to know how to use the products.

Kracie Popin Cookin Cake Decoration Review

As usual, another popin cookin kit review. I just can't get enough of their DIY kits!

So I will let the pictures do the talking. (;

1. Firstly, separate the container as shown as the picture below. Then mix in the yellow sachet powder & add 2 scoops of water. The cake mix really does smell like vanilla!

2. Next, mix in the orange sachet into the smaller cake tray & add 1 scoop of water.

3. Then, place the cake mixture in the microwave for 60 seconds (500W) / 50 seconds (600W). Leave the cake to cool for about 5 mins before decorating.

4. Next, mix in the red sachet powder  & add 1 scoop of water. Mix well & carefully spoon the mixture into the container. I used the remaining mixture to create a flower design haha

5. To make the white icing, mix in the blue sachet & add 2 scoops of water.

   

6. For the pink icing, mix in the pink sachet & add 1 scoop of water. Then, spoon the icing into the piping bag provided.

Tadaaaaaaa!!

For the taste, the cake taste surprisingly good.It has a spongy texture too.

The jelly taste sweet! For the cream, it doesn't taste like what I've expect.

But anyway, the cake came out very well. Fun kit to make!

Thelilacbox Cult Box (October) Review 2013

Hi, I'm pretty excited today as I know thelilacbox was shipped out.

& guess what? I received it this morning & can't wait to find out what's inside the box!

This is thelilacbox first ever cult box!

Modbox October 2013 Review

Hi, I just received my Modbox from the mail like half and hour ago. I was so excited to open it.

So as usual, the packaging is the same as the previous boxes.

Ps. I was hoping that the box design will change or they could give it a lil twist.

Murad Resurgence Hydrating Toner X1 (15ML)

(180ml costs RM128)

So according to the pamphlet provided, it says that this is the best selling toner & helps to restore skin's suppleness. Can't wait to try it out :D

 

 Next is the Lavera basis sensitiv hand cream, it contains organic almond oil & organic shea butter.

So you have to shake well to ensure natural oils & contents are mixed before applying onto your hands.

Coris Wakuwaku Doubutsu kit review

Time to make lollipop candy!

This kit is called Wakuwaku Doubutsu by Coris.

There are 4 types of animals design & I got design No.3 which is the giraffe and the bear :D

Basically, what you need to do is mold the dough & put the dough in the container & press it together.

Tadaaa!

Super adorable tiny animals lollipops!

For the taste, it taste like normal candy.

Chewy & sweet!

This is the box for the month of September.

I'm a lil disappointed as the packaging is similar to the previous box ( August box ).

The bottle is secured with bubble wrap so it won't spill out or damage!  

RESCARE Aqua Peeling Body Exfoliating Spray X1 (FULL SIZED)

(300ml costs RM75)

It really does remove the 'dirt' on your skin! Can't wait to see the results after long term use.

Super love this product & will definitely buy this again :D

Kracie Marumete Pandango Review

Helo! I'm back with more DIY candy kits!

Today I will be making panda candy!

This kit comes with a sweet soy sauce dip.

Basically, the number of steps are printed on the packaging. So all you need to do is mix the sachets of powder according to the numbers. So easy right (;

1. First, mix sachet No.1 with 3 scoops of water using the plastic spoon provided. Mix well to form a dough. Then, split the dough into two.

2. Mix in sachet No.2 & add 1 scoop of water using the tiny triangle scoop. Mix well n form a dough. Then, shape the dough into parts using the guide provided.

3. Next, roll the dough into a panda shape & place it on the stick ( included in the packet). 

4. To make the soy sauce, mix in sachet No.3 & add 2 scoops water using the triangle scoop.

Taddaaa!! So CUTE! XD

For the taste, I personally prefer eating without dipping the soy sauce.

The rice ball taste really good. The texture is soft & bouncy haha

The soy sauce taste a bit weird & the texture is kinda thick.
